Appalling research findings

This is the final report of our 2009 international benchmark study of credit card statements.

It shows the unacceptable standard of credit card design across the world, just after the Global Financial Crisis (GFC).

It replicates, on a large scale, what our studies of many hundreds of individual public documents shows in great detail. This is unacceptable. Many people are being disadvantaged.

Importantly, it does not have to be like this. We know how to do much better!

We are about to replicate this study on a larger scale to see if financial institutions are performing any better now, ten years on. If you would like to volunteer and help with our data collection, we will give you 1 year free CRI Membership. Volunteer  now.
